Why your reward card looks different in each African country

2 June 2026 · RewardsCard Africa Team

A reward card sent to a recipient in Lagos and one sent to a recipient in Nairobi don't show the same options. That's deliberate, not a gap in coverage.

Local operators, not just global brands

Airtime top-ups only work if the network operator is the one your recipient actually uses. Bill payments only matter if the utility provider is the one billing their household. We build a separate catalogue per country so a recipient in Ghana sees AirtelTigo and Ikeja-style electricity providers relevant to where they are, not options that don't apply to them.

Where we currently operate

Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Senegal, Rwanda, Ivory Coast, Zambia, and Botswana are live now, with Zimbabwe coming soon. Full detail is on our countries page.

Sending to more than one country at once

If you're recognising a team spread across two or three countries — common for a team event or a company-wide thank you — you can place separate orders for each recipient's country on our order form. Each card automatically shows the right local catalogue, no extra configuration needed on your part.
